Ryan completes the RIBA Principal Designer course
Fabric’s Lead Architect Ryan Gormley ARB / RIBA had the great opportunity to undertake the ‘on demand RIBA Principal Designer’ course this week.
The RIBA course takes place over six online webinars and will define and provide adequate skills, knowledge and experience to a professionally agreed standard. To show awareness and capability to deliver this role there is an industry expectation for professionals to demonstrate attendance and knowledge attained. Following completion, an attendance certificate was issued showing that Ryan had completed the RIBA-accredited course.
“I found it to be a brilliant tool for better understanding the role within the industry. Architects are often best placed to conduct the role, ultimately through their close involvement in design from the early stages. It allows Architects to take on a far more proactive position within the role as opposed to the often reactive approach derived from the previous CDMC role” - Ryan Gormley
At Fabric we always make sure we are constantly learning and developing our skills and knowledge. We are small boutique practice and our size sustains our ethos; we can give clients a bespoke and personal experience whilst retaining our attention to detail throughout all projects.
